What to Do at Night in Sri Lanka
Nightlife is not the main attraction in Sri Lanka. Bars, discos, and casinos are fairly busy in the bigger cities but in smaller destinations, there is not much to do at night apart from having a drink in a hotel bar.
Beware of touts and beach boys, dress casual but smart, and you can enjoy a night out in Sri Lanka. West coast nightlife is the best to be found on the island.

Galle Nightlife
In the city of Galle the closest thing to nightlife can be found 10 km east of town at the Unawatuna Beach Resort. You can find a semblance of nightlife here, otherwise in Galle after the sun goes down, there is precious little to do.
